Keelan Donovan + Haunted Like Human w/ Grant Cowan

THU • JUL 26 • 8 PM
$7 Adv – $10 Door
Doors @ 7 PM

With upbeat anthems, quiet confidence, and a wicked sense of humor, Keelan Donovan knows how to light up a room. Since first hitting the road in 2014, the Maine-born and Nashville-based troubadour has logged over 600 shows across 48 states and four countries alongside the likes of All-American Rejects, Ben Rector, Matt Nathanson & New Politics as his music popped up everywhere from Spotify’s coveted “New Music Friday” and “Weekly Buzz” playlists to ABC’s Nashville and a trailer for The Hero starring Sam Elliott. His self-titled 2017 EP, Keelan Donovan [Big Yellow Dog Music/ADA], captures the engaging and enigmatic energy that defines him.

Haunted Like Human is bringing a new roots voice to Nashville: two parts folk, one part Americana, and a dash of some indie vibes. Classically trained guitarist Cody Clark has played everything from post-hardcore to jazz. Vocalist Dale Chapman grew up writing prose and poetry, and she brings her strong imagery and storytelling into her music. Through their myriad of influences, the two strive to create an unique and intimate listening experience for their audience. Their debut album, Ghost Stories, came out in September of 2017, and their next EP, Folklore, is set to release this fall.

Grant Cowan consistently charms audiences with his signature brand of jazz influenced piano pop. With impressive and genre-blending facility on piano, a warm and shining vocal tone, and a wonderful sense of humor, Grant brings spectacular energy to his live show. His insightful and clever lyrics create a wonderful and refreshing pop authenticity. Grant Cowan's anthems to youth are a sparkling contrast to the sophisticated, clean production of his debut EP Cover to Cover. His playful and moving pop tunes are the perfect backdrop for a night drive in Georgia, your first kiss, or the coming of age movie about your life. Driving pop beats, jazz inspired horns, and soulful piano: your new favorite song is on this record.
