Hollow Body Tour + cheer!

FRI • MAR 30 • 8 PM
$7 Adv – $10 Door
Doors @ 7 PM

Philadelphia's own cheer! is paired with the ATL-based Hollow Body Tour to deliver an evening of original and familiar acoustic-based Americana interpretations.

Hollow Body Tour was formed in 2012, when three friends realized they shared the same passion for Classic Rock. Each playing predominantly acoustic guitar (hence the name based off the hollow body instrument), they worked at adding their own acoustic signature to their songs. Two of the guitars were abandoned in favor of adding a mandolin and a banjo - creating a combination of instruments which now gives a bluegrass flavor to some of the most popular songs in Rock and Roll history (Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, The Band, CCR, The Eagles, REM…).  HBT has also added many newer rock songs, party favorites and pop songs (so their kids will listen) to the song lineup.  Hollow Body Tour plays fundraisers, parties and bars.

cheer! is a combo presenting ramshackle ditties exploring urban depravity, heart break, fashion diets, and Brooklyn wrapped up in melodies that may have you whistling for days.  This is a special performance featuring the wildly intonated Eric Bandurski on cello.
