Located between Midtown and Virginia Highlands in Atlanta, GA, Red Light Café is a casual, comfortable, smoking-free environment to enjoy live music & entertainment featuring a full bar (with a massive craft beer selection) and an ever-evolving menu of appetizers, entrées, soups, salads, desserts and more.

Every Wednesday, the Gordon Vernick Quartet perform a few numbers then invite other musicians and singers to join them on stage for a Jazz Jam Session. There's no cover charge and plenty of free, secure parking. Whether you're a professional or amateur musician, you're welcome to sit in — everyone who wants to perform will be given a chance to play.

Dance party where anything goes will follow, so come hang out and enjoy a craft beer or cocktail (or two)! This month's theme is Psychedelic Roller Skate.

All vinyl all night, accept no substitutions.

We're delighted to announce Trio Da Kali will release a new recorded collaboration with Kronos Quartet in September, on the most successful world music label in the known universe: World Circuit Records, the home of Ali Farka Toure, Buena Vista Social Club, Toumani Diabate etc.

Derek Gripper has produced some of Africa’s most extraordinary musical works. His music draws on European traditions, Gismontiand other avant-garde Brazilian works, the Malian kora repertoire, Cape Town’s folk musics, and even Indian classical music - but produces an artistic expression uniquely his own.
