Road Trip is a completely improvised show based on real stories featuring a rotating cast of some of the best improvisers + storytellers in ATL. Previous storytellers have been featured on Comedy Central, HBO, Conan, and more. It's the hottest growing show in the city, and we want you there!
This specific show, normally featured at Dad's Garage Theatre, will be two acts - one a classic Road Trip, and the other half will be Road Trip featuring a cast of musical improvisers, improvising everything based on stories! Our guest storytellers include Blaire Erskine, a stand-up comedian and Emmy-nominated television writer whose work has been featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and other major platforms, and Liam Nelson, a New York based comic who has toured the country opening for Sam Morril, Dusty Slay, Gianmarco Soresi, and Kate Willett, and was recently on the Netflix Is a Joke festival and Drybar Comedy.

Join us for a Solo Irish Fiddle concert from one of the best in the genre: Kevin Burke!
Kevin Burke’s fiddle playing has been at the forefront of traditional music since the 1970s. His far-reaching solo album, “If the Cap Fits” and his work with such distinguished performers as Arlo Guthrie, Kate Bush, Christy Moore and the Bothy Band established him as a first class musician. Never one to be restricted by geography or genre, his decades long career has seen several innovative collaborations with notable musicians of differing styles - Classical, Old Time, Bluegrass, Pop and Rock as well as the Irish Traditional music for which he is so well known.
Some of the eminent players he has worked with are: Grammy winner, singer and instrumentalist Tim O’Brien; Liam O Maonlai, lead singer of the Hothouse Flowers; classical violinists Gilles Apap and Greg Ewer; Old Time favourites, The Foghorn String Band; renowned Irish bands Dervish, Solas and Lunasa and his most recent recording is a collaboration with veteran Rock guitarist John Brennan(Poco, Chris Hillman Band and others).

Join us for the Atlanta Songwriters ClubMeet Up at Red Light Café every second Monday of the month! $5 at the door, starts at 8pm, and you can sign up to play a song if you'd like when you get here.
The Atlanta Songwriters Club is a bit like an open mic with a few key differences. This group exists for songwriter's who would like to interact with other songwriters. It is similar to an open mic, but with the added benefit of discussion. You can come and play a song or just watch and listen. If you'd like to play, you will tell us all if you are interested in receiving feedback on the song or not. If you are interested then after you play we will all discuss what we like about the song, and any suggestions we might have as a group. If you'd rather not have any feedback on the song then you will simply play the song for us. There's no cash prize, competition, or politics. Just songwriting discussions and hopefully new friendships.
If you're a songwriter looking to connect with other songwriters and get some dialogue happening, this group is for you! A club like this allows us to get to know other local songwriters, and learn from one another.
