Do you suffer from moderate to severe puppet trauma? Are you sexually attracted to felt? Was Sesame Street your favorite show as a kid and you’ve never found something to fill the void that aging out of PBS Kids left? Join us on Avenue Booze: A coming-of-age story about everyday issues and how NOT to handle them, told by a cast of actors under the influence using puppets!
Rated R for almost every possible reason.
Acting Under the Influence combines theatre and drinking (two of our most favorite activities) in a fun and safe environment for performers and audience members alike. The actors are encouraged to drink by tips from the audience. AUI productions have included cabarets, full-length plays, and many other boozy theatrical shenanigans.

With DEVIANT ACTS, comedian Jeff Greenspan shares hilarious stories from his viral pranks aimed at corporate crooks, privacy invaders, hipsters, and other cultural catastrophes.
This isn’t just stand-up. It’s a multimedia show that unpacks how he pulled these stunts off and what happened when things went sideways.
Before comedy, Jeff was BuzzFeed’s first Chief Creative Officer, worked closely with “Zuck” at Facebook, and survived too many ad agencies to count. He flipped his media experience on its head, hijacking headlines and subverting news cycles with stunts so bold, even NYC’s mayor had to weigh in.
Jeff delivers laughs while exposing how the media toyed with his self-acceptance, and warps how we all see ourselves. You’ll leave with more than just punchlines.

Get ready to ROCK OUT at Twinkledome! A night to dress-up and shake your wild thing to rock, glam, punk and new wave. This event is about coming out as you are or however you want to be. Think glam… think rock star… think feather boas, platform shoes, leather pants, colored wigs and glitter! Be punk… be goth… be rock-a-billy… be whatever you dare!
Just BE there!
So Twinkledome started as a milestone birthday party for me and then became a monthly club night. This will be the 20th anniversary which means another big birthday, so come help me celebrate!
The theme, The Wonder / Golden Years, is about nostalgia.
So dress as your favorite childhood toy or stuffed animal. Did you love being a Girl Scout or playing baseball? Then recreate the look! Wear a favorite club outfit from back in the day or wig (talkin’ to you Great White) or beloved Halloween costume. Whatever makes you feel warm and fuzzy! And of course, feel free to turn up the volume and give these outrageous outfits a rock-n-roll twist!

Join us for the Atlanta Songwriters ClubMeet Up at Red Light Café every second Monday of the month! $5 at the door, starts at 8pm, and you can sign up to play a song if you'd like when you get here.
The Atlanta Songwriters Club is a bit like an open mic with a few key differences. This group exists for songwriter's who would like to interact with other songwriters. It is similar to an open mic, but with the added benefit of discussion. You can come and play a song or just watch and listen. If you'd like to play, you will tell us all if you are interested in receiving feedback on the song or not. If you are interested then after you play we will all discuss what we like about the song, and any suggestions we might have as a group. If you'd rather not have any feedback on the song then you will simply play the song for us. There's no cash prize, competition, or politics. Just songwriting discussions and hopefully new friendships.
If you're a songwriter looking to connect with other songwriters and get some dialogue happening, this group is for you! A club like this allows us to get to know other local songwriters, and learn from one another.

TDawg Presents is proud to present former member of Old Crow Medicine Show, Grammy-nominated artist Mason Via, who has branched out to create his own mark!
“Mason Via is one of the best of the new generation of bluegrass players and this album makes that perfectly clear. Driving mash grass, sweet ballads, new bluegrass classic songs and country hits that could well end up on the radio are all right here in your hand. Mason goes a bit beyond traditional grass with some unusual progressions and surprising arrangements making these songs a delight to any ear whether familiar with bluegrass or not. With this his first bluegrass record ,Mason is stepping out on his own and his future is“wide open”. You’re gonna hear a lot from this guy, enjoy your first taste!” —Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon
It took four quick years for Mason Via to become one of the newest leaders of modern-day American roots music. During that whirlwind period, he toured the world as a member of Old Crow Medicine Show, earned a Grammy nomination for his work on the band's chart-topping album Jubilee, contributed songs to Grammy Winning and Nominated records by Molly Tuttle and Del McCoury Band, and released his solo debut, New Horizons. The momentum continues with Mason Via, a self-titled solo record that balances the progressive with the timeless, reintroducing Mason as a southern storyteller and sharp-eyed singer/songwriter steeped in the bluegrass tradition.
By the early 2020s, he'd already flown the flag for bluegrass and folk music on prime-time TV as an American Idol contestant, completed multiple tours as the youngest member of Old Crow Medicine Show, and collaborated with artists like Sierra Ferrell — another Appalachian export who, like him, put her own spin on the music of the mountains.
Mason's new self-titled recording is absolutely fantastic, full of soul and fine picking.
Local favorite Ralph Roddenbery kicks off the evening with what promises to be a top tier set of brilliant and witty songwriting. This is going to be a fantastic night!
