Step right up! STEP RIGHT UP!!! Join the cats and kittens of Speakeasy Electro Swing Atlanta for a special CIRCUS NIGHT! We are going to be joined this month by none other than the live band This Way to the Egress on their Great Balancing Act Tour! Their special blend of cabaret and electro swing beats are sure to keep your feet tapping, and they've even invited our gogo gal Claire Voyant from April's show to dance with them.
DJ Doctor Q will be spin tunes around the band and keep folks dancing all night, alongside the sideshow tap dancing joy of Tippy Tapage and the sultry cirque stylings of Candi LeCoeur. Our opening hour from 8–9pm will be an informal happy hour and meet and greet during sound check in lieu of dance lessons this time, and the show gets underway at 9pm, with the band starting at 10pm.
There will be all manner of song and dance to close out the month of May, so be sure not to miss it.

Formed in 2008, This Way to the EGRESS is a 6-piece accordion led ensemble hailing from the Philadelphia region. Since it's start, EGRESS has tried to find a box in which they could fit themselves, however finding a box to fit six members playing accordion’s, tuba’s, electric guitar’s, trombone’s, piano's, and drum’s would need to be a rather large box. So they move forth doing what they do best, incorporating elements of punk, Balkan, Klezmer, blues, reggae and ragtime with Americana Folk-Rock causing a genre defying sound that P.T. Barnum would be proud of.
