Ben Wade is an acoustic singer/songwriter and musician whose raw and soulful vocals are reminiscent of the “old school” soul singers, but with a bit more of a contemporary feel. Tommy Thompson opens the show at 8:30pm before the Ben Wade Band take the stage.

The Ben Wade Band was formed when solo acoustic artist and songwriter Ben Wade joined musical forces with his musician brother Jason Marcum and guitarist Ken Bennett. Fueled by the mutual interest in recording Ben's original acoustic based songs, the three began laying down tracks in Jason's studio. The latest edition to the talented trio is the fourth member, drummer Kevin Pinson. While it's difficult to categorize an exact genre for Ben's original songs, think about expressive stories weaving a path through influences of Amos Lee, Ryan Adams, Van Morrison, and a nuance of country.
Ben Wade, Guitar and Vocals. Ben is a Songwriter/Vocalist/Musician in Atlanta. His raw and soulful vocals quickly gained him recognition in the Atlanta music scene during the mid 90's and in 1995 was named “Best New Acoustic Artist” by Creative Loafing Magazine. Most recently, Ben was acknowledged as "Among the Best Entertainers, 2014" by Gwinnett Magazine.
Ken Bennett, Electric Guitar. Ken is a veteran guitarist and bassist of the Atlanta scene. He started teaching guitar at age 13 and formed a band at 14, got a radio show at 15, and conducted choruses through his first 2 years of college. Currently with The Ben Wade Band, Ken has also performed with The Lovecakes, his own trio Jazz Canon, and the guitar/percussion duo Caravan. He is also a maker of fine quality guitars and supplies hand-cut inlay art to individuals and instrument manufacturers.
Jason Marcum, Bass Guitar. Jason performs over 250 dates a year as a solo artist in the United States. With 7 records already released and a new one on the way at the end of this year, he sees no slowing down for the upcoming 2016 year. Jason has recently relocated to Atlanta. Kevin Pinson, Drums. Kevin is an Artist/Designer/Musician who has been a Professional Drummer for 32 years. He spent 15 years playing with Derek St. Holmes and 12 years with FLH. Kevin is the Owner/Designer of Bearing Edge Drums and is currently building Porsches with Righteous Tubs.
