Zoe Sparks + Parker Wierling + Life as Mary

  • Red Light Cafe 553-1 Amsterdam Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30306 United States (map)

Join us for an intimate night of live music with Boston-based singer-songwriter Zoe Sparks and rising local artists Parker Wierling and Life as Mary.

Rising singer-songwriter Zoe Sparks has made waves on social media and in the New England music scene – not only for her smooth soulful voice, but for the hard-hitting bass grooves she lays down simultaneously. Through her conversational lyrics and their meaningful messages, Sparks leaves a lasting impression with her genre-bending blend of funk, soul, R&B, and pop. Originally from LA, Sparks is currently based in Boston, MA, where she studied at Berklee College of Music. She is best known for her exhilarating live performances with her 7-piece band that has performed around the Northeast, including opening for Lawrence, Del Water Gap, and Victor Wooten.

Currently based in Athens, Georgia, Parker Wierling is fresh off the release of his debut EP. With this, he finds himself entering a new musical era, one filled with rich instrumentation, more personal storytelling, and stronger production. Aptly named 'It's So You!', Parker's new EP is his most cohesive and personal yet.

Singer-songwriter Allison Jarrell is joined by Carl Frazzano (guitar) in her most recent revival of Life As Mary. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, this charismatic duo, manages to achieve a direct and edgy sound made up of catchy melodies that fans describe as infectious. Their set list of original songs ranges from pop punk to ballad rock to indie pop, and their engaging stage presence leads the audience through a fun, yet at times thought-provoking, music listening experience.
