Come stitch for a good cause! Gather with fellow knitters and crocheters and create cold weather items such as hats, scarves, and mittens for the refugee clients of the Atlanta office of the International Rescue Committee. Don't know how to knit? Want to learn? One free lesson will get you started on a scarf to donate to the cause. Bring your own project materials — and extra to donate if you'd like!
As a special treat, Clay Spurz, Spurz of the Moment will be performing. Clay Spurz sings hundreds of pop, folk, and country classics and a hundred of his own tunes of those varieties.

Clay Spurz sings hundreds of pop, folk, and country classics and a hundred of his own tunes of those varieties. These are the playlist for The Band of Desperate Men, in which he's entertained Atlanta for four decades. Buddy Miller, two time American Music Association “Instrumentalist of the Year," recorded Clay’s “Garage Sale,” and James “the Bluegrass Storyteller” King brought out a bluegrass version of the song on Rounder Records. Spurz also performs hybrid Chinese and English "Mandarin Pop" tunes as the Mandarin Minstrel.
