WALLER returns to RLC Bluegrass Thursday as a tight-knit 3-piece with Caleb Warren & the Perfect Gentlemen and Auction House Letters. Open bluegrass jam at 6pm; show at 8pm.
WALLER is a band from Georgia, born of the Americana tradition, yet raised in the modern age. 2013 brought forth a new line-up for Waller. Scaling it back down to a 3 piece (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and a stand up bass) allows the band to deliver simple heartfelt tunes to the people.
Caleb Warren & the Perfect Gentlemen are a string jazz, ragtime blues band consisting of old-time American musicians from North Georgia. This isn't the blues your Grannies and Poppas listened to.
Auction House Letters is a band from Atlanta, GA. Members, Jeff Holt, Chris Poma, Erik Kaszynski, and Susannah Wallace began playing together a few years back in the Georgia Fireflies. After the dissolution of that band in 2012, the four continued to make music together. Their 6-song EP, Buy Here Pay Here, will soon be available.
