Waller is the songwriting outlet for Jason C. Waller. Americana from Decatur, Georgia. Waller is the last name and what the band is called. Songs and such about death and love. Americana cause it's not country and it's not rock and roll. All music is folk music. original tunes played for the sound guy.
Waits & Co. is an original, acoustic-based outfit, in the Americana/Alt-Country genre, rooted in the southern experience.
A young man who grew up in automotive shops, and a career mechanic until he quit to pursue music full-time, Wade Sapp knows what it means to get his hands dirty and work hard, long hours. This background of earning his keep by the sweat of his brow is what makes his music so easy to relate to for the common man. The songs contain familiar themes of love, loss, family, and how important a cold beer after working all day can be. It seems as though folks can't help but feel a connection to him as a person. Now, every workin' man has to cut loose once in a while to keep his sanity, right? Well, Wade has a real knack for turning non-country listeners into hooked fans because at his shows, especially during the latter part of the evening, it tends to get rowdy and you can expect to see people dancing and singing along to every song. He may look young, but don't let that baby face fool you.
Wade draws inspiration from the solid country gold of yesteryear, and doesn't forget where he came from. Small-town Okeechobee, FL is where the wild-eyed boy called home in his younger years. Hank Williams, Garth Brooks, Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, and Keith Whitley were among the cassette tapes coming through the speakers of his single-mother's run down Lincoln back then. It was a simple time and place, and a perfect foundation for the country music artist in the making. As time went on, his Mom remarried and got a new job and the family moved from the small town and set out for metro Atlanta, GA. This is where Wade began listening to rock n' roll. He was hooked on everything from the Elvis classics to Creedence Clearwater Revival to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Rage Against the Machine. Sometimes called an outlaw rocker, sometimes a neo-traditionalist, Wade brings a lot to the country music table and there's something to be found for everyone old and new.
