Honey Hips are a blues, rock and soul outfit based out of Atlanta, GA. A band of rock and soul junkies hell bent on perking ears and raising arm hairs. Will Derr and Tim Smith front Honey Hips live act, along with a rotating group of incredibly talented musicians, with the intention of keeping raw/live/spontaneous/heartfelt performances a staple in the Atlanta music scene.

What began as a solo project in the summer of 2016 slowly evolved into a 3 piece band based in Atlanta. Shortly after being picked up by Atlanta indie 59 X Records, The Carolyn put out its debut EP, Keepsake, during the fall of last year. Songs about loss and disillusionment pervade the record, yet Keepsake also invokes feelings of nostalgia and hope. The Carolyn approaches melodic punk in a way that feels familiar, but incorporates singer-songwriter elements, making the music accessible to a variety of listeners
