Enjoy an evening of timeless folk and country with Atlanta’s favorite father / daughter Americana duo, The Brookses, and the Alt-Country / Southern Rock of Trey Palmer Band.
About The Brookses
Atlanta-based singer/songwriters Meg Brooks and James Brooks are a father/daughter duo whose love of traditional folk, country and blues shines through in their interpretation of classic songs as well as well-crafted originals that sound just as timeless.
Their 2019 debut LP, Lucky Charm, garnered rave reviews in the US and UK:
“A rich bygone take on the stunning sound of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris…silvery harmonies.” - Glide Magazine
“Lovely stuff, rewarding in its sparse arrangement and gently swinging countrypolitan feel.” – Post to Wire
“The Brookses tell stories with the tight harmonies and folksy instrumentation associated with some of roots music’s most famous surnames: Carter, Delmore, Louvin and Everly.” – Stomp and Stammer
“An intimate album that simply seems to grows on you with repeated listens.” – Americana UK
