This is going to be one helluva fun night, bringing together some mighty fine jams from Ann Arbor, MI to the ATL! Doors at 7pm, meet & greet with Rootstand at 8pm, and Scott Warren & the Booze Mountaineers start the show at 9pm!

For over ten years, Rootstand has set course from the uplands and urban jungles of Michigan to seek their fortune on the seas and sounds of the roots of America and beyond. From fair shores to foul weather, Rootstand has remained stout-hearted; an honor that is reflected in the strength of its crew.

The Roostand sound is… rebel roots-grass and reggae, swashbucklin’ folk and blues… a highland, island sound, abound with the wild blood of American roots and grass, alive with the joy of the jam and the pain of the ballad… Acoustic-electric battlefield blues and roots-rock, country-boy hip-hop and whiskey reggae.

Scott Warren — a Rome, GA native — has been writing and performing his original brand of folksy-rock, Appalachian-inspired Americana music for over 20 years. His voice is the real thing, saturated with life and soul. The Booze Mountaineers feature Bill Carroll on guitar, James Garrison on percussion, and Clay Broome on bass. Together with Scott, the band has a sound that could be described as the “Hippie-Eagles” — as if Lowell George was singing with JJ Cale’s backing band.
