Stephen Cox celebrates the release of his new album, Transitions. Join us for some live Jazz just in time for spring in Atlanta! If you like Chick Corea, Esperanza Spalding, and Miles Davis, this original music is right up your alley. The musicians on the album will be there: Paige Williams - Vocals, Bill Graham - Piano, Eric Fontaine - Saxophones, Steve Sinde - Drums, and Stephen Cox on Bass. Opening for the release will be Emmy Law and Paige Williams, two incredible singer/songwriters! Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at the door, and come with a digital download of the CD (provided at the show)!

Stephen Cox is a multi-instrumentalist with a knack for song writing. He started playing piano at age 4, and has since added bass, guitar, drums, and other instruments to his arsenal.
As a solo performer, Stephen has played numerous shows in multiple countries. He has written many songs that combine Pop, Southern Rock, Jazz, and even Country elements. He currently has one single, Journey, available on iTunes.
As a bassist, Stephen has performed with numerous artists including: Story of a Life, The Brent Gafford Band, Chip Mcguire, Eric Gant, Lefty Williams, Bryan Gullette, Snake Legs, Zaib Khan, Manabu Saeki, Nolan, Julie Gribble, Nathan Morgan, Dean Dollar, Jake Rathburn, Kevin Dunbar, Mark Michelson, Arman, Via, and more.
Stephen currently teaches Guitar, Piano, Drums, Ukulele, and Bass at The Music Studio in Vinings.
Emmy Law’s debut EP, Lovely, was released on Valentine’s Day 2016. The single from the EP, ‘Lovely’, was chosen as the winner of the John Jarrard Foundation Songwriting Contest in 2014. The contest was judged by members of the Zac Brown Band. In June of 2016, Emmy moved to Atlanta and quickly began to establish herself as a singer songwriter. She’s played in local Atlanta venues such as Smith’s Olde Bar, Red Light Cafe, and Apache Cafe. Furthermore, she advanced to three of Atlanta’s top open mic shootouts: Eddie’s Attic, Red Clay Theater, and Tin Roof Cantina. Emmy is currently in the process of recording her next album set for release in summer 2017.
