This is a FREE SHOW starting with an open mic format at 8pm, then featured artists take the stage at 9pm. Your host, Chelsea Shag, will join performers on stage for a song or two before finishing out the evening with her own set.

You can’t put Chelsea Shag in a box – she’s made up her own. It’s not just pop – it’s jazz, blues, R&B, soul, funk, and hip hop all in one – it’s everything that’s gone through her. An enamoring energy both on and offstage, this twenty-three year old's music moves within you. Her words create stories and her voice and music bring life to them delivering a unique experience to each listener. An invigorating sound to your ears, Chelsea’s voice vibrates through you with the soul of James Brown, edge of Amy Winehouse, and smoothness of Erykah Badu.
From listening to her biggest influences and putting her hands on any instrument she could get ahold of, Chelsea’s been developing her sound since she started playing her electric guitar at age eleven. Moving to Atlanta in 1996 from Nova Scotia, Canada, Chelsea developed the soul of the Southeast and you can feel it when you hear her music. With so much to offer vocally, it’s refreshing to hear a strong singer-songwriter play guitar with such ease and originality. After studying jazz guitar at the Atlanta Institute of Music, Chelsea began winning hearts performing throughout Atlanta breaking the cliché that only men can rock a guitar. With her looper machine, sweet tones, beat boxing, and kick drum riding the rhythm – her live performance is not to be missed.
