Hi, my name is Melanie Morgan, I've been a singer songwriter for 17 yrs, i have been performing since the age of 13 from small coffee houses, eldery homes, homeless shelters, bars, and to large venues. I love what I do and pour all that i am and have into my lyrics and music. This project I have been working on for the past 2yrs, 'The Beast Within Beauty', is very dear to me, the songs written for this album come straight from the pages of my journal, my life, my soul... every lyric you will hear has a story behind it... my story. Im beyond ready to share with the world my path traveled through pain and finding strength within it. In hopes that through my lyrics others will find that strength as well.
Downside is a highly energetic rock band blaring out of Atlanta, Georgia with aggressive vocals, thunderous drum beats, and an overall attacking sound. The band chemistry has been present for over a decade, but the stars began to align in 2011 when Downside performed on legendary stages throughout Atlanta such as the Tabernacle, Masquerade, 10 High and many more. Downside has opened for National acts like Adelitas way and Zack Myers of Shinedown.
