It's a night of Outlaw Americana featuring Reverend Hylton & the Devil's Hands with special guest Garrett Freireich!
Reverend Hylton and The Devil's Hands is an Americana Outlaw band from the Atlanta area. After three and a half years of playing in the jam band 3DC, Reverend Hylton has gone back to his roots. Forming an Americana Outlaw band with band mates Matt Humphry on drums, Jared Slyman on bass and bringing in the electric slide styles of Kyle Prinzbach. Together they are Reverend Hylton and the Devil's Hands. A sound that showcases Rev. Hyltons relatable songs of traveling, heartache, and addiction. A Mix of rowdy country tunes and heartfelt ballads. So watch out 'cause you might just find yourself singing along or doing a little shit kickin' boot stompin! Keep an ear out for your opportunity to get tempted. See ya in church, folks!!!
Singer / songwriter Garrett Freireich has been writing music for most of his life. Inspired by the great songwriters of the 60's and 70's, and a self-admitted "folk junkie", this Atlanta native strives to write songs with substance and meaning, not just for himself, but for the listener as well. Having fronted bands for most of his career, Garrett has gone back to what he considers the roots of music; lyrics and melody. Now performing solo, with only his guitar as accompaniment, he allows his songs to take center stage. The result is a beautiful combination of ideas and emotions. With an impressive catalog of original material and some very distinct guitar and vocals, Garrett Freireich is worth a listen. Currently, Garrett is performing material from his upcoming second solo album, American Tunes, and his shows are full of passion and fire. Garrett Freireich: His music will get stuck in your head and in your heart.
