Red Light Café is Atlanta's premiere listening room for Americana, Bluegrass, Country & Western, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Roots Rock, and everything in between — including some of the best Comedy Shows and Burlesque in the Southeast! Located on the east side of Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta's Amsterdam Walk, Red Light Café is a cozy live entertainment and music venue with tables and seating for over 100 folks to enjoy an intimate show with a full bar and kitchen for drinks, appetizers and entrées.

“Reveal on the Rocks” by Acting Under the Influence

Time for a 2026 season reveal! Acting Under the Influence will be unveiling their much anticipated 2026 line-up, with performances from crowd favorite performers, and the first inaugural “Tipsy Awards.” Think the Tony Awards, but drunker, and not televised.

Formal attire is encouraged. This event is free of charge! Whether you’re a performer, patron, or completely new to our theatre company, we invite you to enjoy a night of talent and intoxication. Please bring a non-perishable food item (or two!) to donate to Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Acting Under the Influence combines theatre and drinking (two of our most favorite activities) in a fun and safe environment for performers and audience members alike. The actors are encouraged to drink by tips from the audience. AUI productions have included cabarets, full-length plays, and many other boozy theatrical shenanigans.
