Red Light Running Society aims to bring folx together to build and maintain happy, healthy and active lives. All fitness levels are welcome - walkers, joggers, runners, etc. Even if you're not able to participate, please join us for drinks, treats, music, and nerdy conversations afterwards at RLC (4pm)!
Here's the breakdown:
2pm: Doors open at RLC. Have a coffee, change clothes / shoes, etc.
3pm: Doors close at RLC and everyone heads to the park! Running, jogging, walking – in groups or solo – whatever works for you. I (Michael) will likely do a slow 12 minutes-per-mile-ish so I'm able to hold a conversation. 🥴 I'll also bring my phone for photo ops of pretty leaves and pretty people doing pretty things together (and in case of any emergencies).
4pm: Doors re-open at RLC. "Recovery" drinks, coffee (Irish?), snacks (protein waffles, fruit & yogurt, etc.), music (DJ MC in the place to be) – just hang out and relax. Feel free to stick around for the evening show (no cover 'cause you earned it!) if you'd like.
NOTE: This is not a "park run" park run. If you're looking for one of those, try the Northside Beltline Parkrun (Saturdays at 9am).
