Red Light Café is Atlanta's premiere listening room for Americana, Bluegrass, Country & Western, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Roots Rock, and everything in between — including some of the best Comedy Shows and Burlesque in the Southeast! Located on the east side of Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta's Amsterdam Walk, Red Light Café is a cozy live entertainment and music venue with tables and seating for over 100 folks to enjoy an intimate show with a full bar and kitchen for drinks, appetizers and entrées.

Grab a fiddle, a mandolin, a guitar, a banjo, a dobro, an upright bass, or all of the above and come on down to our weekly pickin' party! Or just bring yourself and eat, drink and enjoy the best damn acoustic bluegrass jam in Atlanta!

The pickin' starts at 6pm, and Plectophilia take the stage at 8pm! Rather then letting defined genres make their music generic, the members of Plectophilia draw inspiration from styles and sounds of all kinds. In the tradition of string giants such as Béla Fleck, Jerry Douglas, and Mark O’Connor, this band lets their ears guide them to material from sources as wide-ranging as jazz, funk, rock and roll, and blues. Of course, they’ve still got room in their hearts for bluegrass and the roots of string music!
