Red Light Café is Atlanta's premiere listening room for Americana, Bluegrass, Country & Western, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Roots Rock, and everything in between — including some of the best Comedy Shows and Burlesque in the Southeast! Located on the east side of Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta's Amsterdam Walk, Red Light Café is a cozy live entertainment and music venue with tables and seating for over 100 folks to enjoy an intimate show with a full bar and kitchen for drinks, appetizers and entrées.

PAINT PARTY!!!

We’re finally going to clear the room and paint the new floor. YOU ARE ALL INVITED, AND THE BAR WILL BE OPEN FOR ... INSPIRATION!!!

Now, we still need to think through how this will work. Is it pure chaos, Jackson Pollock splatter-style? Or is it organized with people claiming sections to make their own? TBD.

How will painting supplies be provided (BYOBrushes, or RLC just has a buncha spare stuff)? What is the best type paint to use? And how to we source it so it’s not crazy expensive (including lots of color choices)? How long to leave it to dry before applying a sealant, and what sealant to use? Blah blah blah.

Lots yet to consider. But, mark your calendars for the evening of Tuesday, July 25th!!! We'll update everyone once we have a more complete plan in place.
