The trio will be performing two sets, and with the second they'll be joined by Charles LaMont (Drums), Julius Speed (Keys), and Aaron Trubic (Bass).

Cleveland P. Jones is committed to his mission to deliver timeless music and soulful brilliance in unforgettable performances. Cleveland was awarded SoulTracks.com's New Artist of The Year 2013, the year he released his debut album, Ace of Hearts. He recently performed at the Cobb Energy Center, opening for the iconic Chaka Khan and was the special guest of The Shadowboxers. His original song, "Don't Leave Me" was a major feature in the 2016 movie, "ECHO PARK". He has performed in nearly all major Atlanta music venues, collaborated with the ATL Collective on numerous projects in Atlanta, performed at SOB's Sol Village Artist Showcase in New York City, and most recently, Yoshi's in San Francisco. Cleveland P. Jones is well on his way to higher places, but he's rooted in his quest to heal souls, one song at a time.
Okorie Johnson is an Atlanta based cellist and composer who has performed and/or recorded with India.Arie, De La soul, Anthony David, Doria Roberts, Callaghan, Paul Mercer and Leah Morgan amongst others. 2015 saw the debut of Okorie’s first solo-cello concert-series, Epi.phony, a multi-city, 12-show development of the relationship between solo-cello, live-sound-looping, and improvisation.
John Huston has distinguished himself as one of the most exciting and expressive guitarists of his generation. Guitart International has praised him as "a formidable talent”, the Fort-Worth Star Telegram described his “considerable energy and impressive virtuosity", and La Stampa has called his playing "...mesmerizing." The accolades for Mr. Huston's performance are numerous, including First Prize in the 2001 Aranjuez Strings International Guitar Competition. John has played concerts throughout the U.S., Canada, and Italy and performs frequently with 9 String Theory, the Atlanta Opera, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the Atlanta Balalaika Society.
Charles LaMont Garner, native of Charleston SC, husband and father of 4 is a professional drummer and singer that started traveling abroad in the Gospel music industry at the age of 16. The experience of being in Lugano, Switzerland July 1992 opened his eyes to one of his purposes in life. That purpose was to be a musician, and the best that he could be at it.
He is now drumming & singing with 4x Grammy artist India Arie. Since starting with her in Sept. 2011, he has toured the US, Australia & Indonesia. Also, he had the awesome privilege of performing with her at the Apollo Theater in Harlem NY for President Barack Obama’s campaign fundraiser. Where he performed his unforgettable rendition of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.” To take part in a night that monumental is going to be a hard one to top, but he’s looking forward to many more GREAT experiences in the world of music!
Charles is the founder of the Next Generation Youth Music Conference. Teaching young instrumentalist the art of true musicianship, which is, “A GREAT ATTITUDE will always triumph over talent!” He realizes that his gift isn't for him only, but was given to share with the WORLD! So far, he's been able to do so. He will continue sharing the wisdom and knowledge obtained within his career, life and as a human being for the rest of it here on earth.
Julius Speed began his professional career as a musician at the age of 10 when he recorded and toured with the Raleigh Boychoirout of Raleigh, North Carolina. He did his first European tour at the age of 13 & since has toured globally in Japan, England, Switzerland, South Africa, the Netherlands & the US. In the summer of 1998, he played the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland & in 2008 played the Cape Town Jazz Festival. Since 1993, he has freelanced as a live & session musician, composer, writer & producer in various styles of music. He has worked with Nick Carter, Whitney Houston, Seal, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Musiq Soulchild, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Daryl Simmons, Everette Harp, Keith Sweat, Lenny Williams, CeCe Peniston, Cee-lo, Too Short, John P. Kee, TC Carson, Bernard Purdie, Antonio Reid Jr., Next, N'Dea Davenport, Vivian Green, Rehab, Donnie, the Ananda Project, & P'taah.
As an experienced studio and touring musician, recording engineer, producer, vocalist, cellist and songwriter, Aaron Trubic has proudly garnered numerous commercial recording credits spanning over 20 years as well as tour performances worldwide.
Aaron is also a published writer on recording industry practices and the evolution of digital music. A proponent of new industry business models, Aaron has been a champion of independent artist’s rights in the digital age and has served as a direct consultant and advisor to artists and major & independent record labels.
As a songwriter (BMI) and producer, Aaron has received national (charting top 10 Hot AC in major US markets) and international radio airplay, and can still be heard on networks like Fox Sports and VH1.
A bass player steeped in traditional blues and soul, Aaron has worked with many legends of classic American blues and roots music, including Sean Costello, Hubert Sumlin, Tinsley Ellis, and more.
Aaron currently resides in Atlanta as both an active touring and studio musician, working with artists, among them, many local, regional, and national acts, and Grammy® winners.
