A one-time-only, free to the public event in the heart of Atlanta!
This Is a Time When Women Need to Tell Their Stories. The leading theater in the nation's capitol city, Arena Stage of Washington, D.C., asked 8 of the nations' most exciting, top, award-winning female playwrights to share eight new stories -- diverse and personal perspectives, fiction and non-fiction -- telling what choice means to them. With its World Premiere in DC on Friday night, eight of Atlanta's recognizable, diverse theater and film artists/activists have been granted the rights via Mann Woman Productions LLC, to be the second group of women to speak these words for a live audience one time only. Several other U.S. cities will follow, leading up to Election Day 2022.
