Kelen Rylee + Sylvia Rose Novak

Kelen Rylee (of Five Shot Jack) and Sylvia Rose Novak headline this week's RLC Bluegrass Thursday! Open bluegrass jam at 6pm, then the show starts at 8pm.

CANCELED DUE TO EXTREME COLD WEATHER. Stay warm, people. We hope to reschedule Kelen and Sylvia soon!

Georgia native Singer/Songwriter Kelen Rylee reaches back to the roots of the music he grew up listening to in a small Southern town. Songs about loving and losing, learning and living. With a powerful voice lent to soulful delivery, often introspective subject matter grasps at the ongoing theme of identity and experiences both good and bad.

Residing in Nowhere, Alabama [after being born and raised in Next to Nowhere, AL], Sylvia Rose Novak grew up on the piano and guitar. She transitioned to bass and trombone as a teenager [because those years weren't awkward enough] before finding the banjo around her eighteenth birthday. At, which point, Novak began collecting cats and training horses. Starting again as a mandolin player with her band, Salem Railyard, Novak found the fiddle by happenstance and has been double-stop and cajun-shuffling her way around the SouthEast ever since.

Sylvia's debut album, Chasing Ghosts, is out now on iTunes.
