We are everyday men and women. We struggle. We survive. We find hope amidst chaos. We piece words together. With all the negative stereotype images and talk, we all need something different.
In My Shoes is a storytelling event produced by Cathy Reinking that cuts through the day to day defenses and facades, to get to the soul of the human being inside. By giving you a glimpse of the world In My Shoes, we discover how close and connected we truly are. Join us in a heartfelt, joyous evening of diverse voices and ages.
SPECIAL GUEST: ADAM LEBOW
Adam is returning to Atlanta (from New York City) to share his very special one-person show in its entirety - "FANATICAL OPTIMISM"
If you are a Baby Boomer you definitely don't want to miss this! And if you aren't, you'll learn how all this madness in this country started.
DAVE DEUTSCHLE - who gave us a glimpse at his experience in Desert Storm during the last In My Shoes Stories - will perform his one person show in its entirety. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cringe, you'll be moved.
You'll also experience a STAGED READING of a new Short Script written by Darryl Dillard - EXTRA EXTRA, which takes place in a (you guessed it) holding tank for Extras on a big film production. You'll laugh (and probably not cry). As they often say with content - "Based On A True Story" :) (Cast to be announced)
Coming back to In My Shoes Stories are:
— Tetra Lloyd
— Adam LaBorde
— Aleks Midnight
— Adriane Benson
— Terri Nicole
— LAQUANDA and her "Lazy Love Candles"
