Traditional Irish Music with Dylan Foley and Matt Mancuso (2 PM SHOW)

  • Red Light Cafe 553-1 Amsterdam Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30306 United States (map)

Dylan Foley & Matt Mancuso: An exceptional pairing of multi-instrumental talent. Irish music soars in the hands of these masters.

Dylan Foley is one of the most accomplished fiddlers in Irish traditional music today and a four-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion. Hailed by master fiddler Brian Conway as “one of the finest fiddlers of his generation,” Foley is known for his technical brilliance, dynamic style, and deep respect for the tradition.

A native of Highland, New York, he studied under Rose Flanagan and was mentored by regional legends Mike McHale and Fr. Charlie Coen. Foley has performed at premier venues including Lincoln Center and toured internationally, with appearances in Vietnam, Thailand, and beyond.

He has recorded and toured with acclaimed groups such as The Yanks and collaborated with Dan Gurney and Josh Dukes. His versatility extends to screen work as well, with an appearance alongside Brendan Gleeson in the television series Mr. Mercedes. Now based in Tennessee, Dylan Foley continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his electrifying performances and deep musicality. https://dylanfoleymusic.com/

New York born, Matt Mancuso is an extraordinary musician. His playing is spirited, exuberant, and underpinned by a deep mastery of his instruments. He was introduced to traditional Irish music as a child by his father, Pete, a respected guitarist, later studying with Maureen Glynn and Tony De Marco. As Matt grew his musical horizons broadened. He went on to add the love of Jazz to his firm grounding in Trad. It was not long before he brought the same mastery to the trumpet as he had to the fiddle. And he continues to add instruments to his list, most recently the tenor guitar and vocals. He has toured the world with Lord of the Dance, performed with Grada, the Cathie Ryan band, and Eileen Ivers band.
