It's a Springtime Songstress Sunday at Red Light Café featuring Drew Davis, Hannah Fairlight, and Elle Maze!
Drew Davis is a singer / songwriter whose heartfelt original music often draws comparisons to artists such as Patty Griffin, Sara Barielles and Fiona Apple. Her music has been used on several MTV shows including “The Hills,” “When I Was 17,” “Made,” and “True Life.” Her song “Not the Same” was placed in the season two premiere of Showtime’s “The Real L Word” and the French series “Foudre.” Drew's latest album, Old Old Heart, was released this past November.
Hannah Fairlight's raw sense of risk and vulnerability cuts through today's plastic pop-driven industry. Lyrically driven, honest, tenacious, and confessional, with alternative rock and roots influences including Tori Amos and Chris Whitley, Hannah's songs and performances captivate, reminding us of the deep human connection to the magic of music and storytelling.
Elle Maze is a nationally and internationally acclaimed young artist. Shortly after her arrival in Nashville, she caught the ear of noted Music Row Publisher Russ Zavitson who signed her to publishing and development deal. Now, Elle is armed with a killer band, lead by Lonestar guitarist / co-founder Mike Britt.
