2017 marks four years of Collins Drive’s musical journey and at this point, the journey is truly just beginning. Four years of creative trials, troubles, strikes, and gutters inspired and fueled the band which can be heard on the release of the band’s self-titled release. Collins Drive are traditional souls with deep roots tied to the folk/rock forefathers such as The Band, CSNY, and Tony Joe White just to name a few. Collins Drive are storytellers that have managed to capture snapshots of Southern living and put them to song. Late night, introspective solo hangs at the Waffle House (“Rest Stop for the Lonely”), the memory of the very first heartbreak (“The Devil is You”), and pondering the process of growing old (“I Drive”) are just a few things that Collins Drive touches upon.
Observant, sentimental, fun, and honest are just a few of the qualities that Collins Drive puts forth in their music. These same qualities are also present in the band’s dynamic live performances that have audiences laughing, smiling, thinking, and tearing up at times. Collins Drive understands the power of song and uses it to their advantage to both entertain and move their audience.
Collins Drive is:
Don de Leaumont — Lead Vocals / Guitar / Harmonica
Mike Satterlee — Drums
Allison Shockley — Bass Guitar

Meg Brooks and Jim Brooks are The Brookses — a daughter/father duo whose love of traditional folk, country and blues shines through in their interpretation of classic songs as well as well-crafted originals. Their tight harmonies and ringing guitar lines evoke the sound of Johnny and June, Gram and Emmy Lou, and the Everly Brothers. Based in Atlanta, they play both as a duo and with a full band.
