The legendary Col. Bruce Hampton returns to Red Light Café to perform live once again with The Madrid Express! Col. Bruce will be joined on stage by another incredible ensemble of musicians, including the absolutely mesmerizing Johnny Knapp on keys, whose careers spans performing with Louis Armstrong, Billie Holliday, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, and countless others.

Col. Bruce Hampton is a Southern musician, singer, actor, magician, artist, and soothsayer. He has been touring since 1963 with the bands IV of IX, Hampton Grease Band, Late Bronze Age, Aquarium Rescue Unit, and too many more to count. Along the way he appeared in the movies "Sling Blade" and Mike Gordon's cult classic "Outside Out." Still rolling down the road, Col. Bruce continues his quest for the tonal center at each exit #6.
