Welcome to the “Roaring Twenties,” minus the prohibition! Get ready to serve as the jury in the case of Roxie Hart – accused of murdering her lover and framing her husband (she totally did, btw) – as she meets fellow “Merry Murderess” Velma Kelly for a night of criminally good singing, a murder drama turned vaudeville, watching drunk actors try their best to do Fosse choreography, and of course, the American Dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal. In the words of Cell Block Tango: you have it (“it” being a fantastically good time) coming!

Acting Under the Influence combines theatre and drinking (two of our most favorite activities) in a fun and safe environment for performers and audience members alike. The actors are encouraged to drink by tips from the audience. AUI productions have included cabarets, full-length plays, and many other boozy theatrical shenanigans.
