Bradford Lee Folk & the Bluegrass Playboys headline RLC Bluegrass Thursday! Little Country Giants open after the open bluegrass jam at 6pm.

Bradford Lee Folk discovered a deep personal love for music at an early age. Raised in a musical family, he had his first professional performances before the age of fifteen. Born in Louisiana and raised in Missouri, Bradford’s love for traditional country and blues music has guided him through a lifelong pursuit of music.

His first major effort came in the form of Open Road. The band which he named and started, recorded 3 Rounder Records Cold Wind, In the Life, and Lucky Drive. Those award-winning records launched a career that took him all over the world and declared him one of bluegrass music’s top young performers. Influencing thousands of young people including musicians such as The Yonder Mtn. String Band, The Steep Canyon Rangers, and Old Crow Medicine Show, Bradford’s singing and stage presence won hearts around the country, and garnered him the title of "Kentucky Colonel" as declared by the Governor.

Open Road’s heavy tour schedule and traveling led him to purchase what became a very well known honky-tonk bar "The Swing Station". It offered him the opportunity to support music and community in rural Colorado. He ran the bar for five years and hosted bands from Asleep at the Wheel, Danny Paisley, Dale Watson, Hank Thompson, Third Tyme Out, Corb Lund, and Wayne Hancock. He performed regularly there until he sold the bar and moved to make music and start writing songs again in Nashville.

Now, Bradford is on the brink of re-emerging better than ever. He has collected some great musical friends in Nashville to create a brand new project Bradford Lee Folk and the Bluegrass Playboys. People all over the world are looking on in support this new effort.

Bradford’s future is bright, as over the years of singing, he has settled into a style and voice all his own. Critics, musicians, and fans agree that he is one of the most captivating performers in bluegrass music today.

Vintage southern folk, bluegrass, and country band, Little Country Giants bring America’s heartland to audiences across America. Gathering accolades, like a magnet gathers iron filings, the unique sound of the Little Country Giants draws audiences and nurtures fans.

Hailing from the foothills of northwest Georgia, the Little Country Giants are outgrowing their southeastern roots like kudzu. In two short years, the band has gone from playing small local festivals and noisy barrooms, to two-story theaters, acclaimed singer-songwriter listening rooms, and main stage performance slots at some of the region’s largest music festivals. The Little Country Giants are the heart and soul of songwriting duo Russell Dallas Cook (guitar / vocals), and Cameron Federal Cook (upright bass / vocals) from Rome, Georgia.
