Banjolicious returns to RLC Bluegrass Thursday for another evening of delicious Americana featuring bassist Rob Henson. Show starts at 8pm, but come early for the open bluegrass jam at 6pm.
Banjolicious formed in 2004 when David Stephens moved to Atlanta, GA and met bassist Will Robertson. The two have been playing together ever since in Atlanta coffee shops, bars, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and private parties. Will is also an extremely talented engineer and record producer who produced two of David’s albums: Sunday Best, and A Year and Some Change, which chronicled David’s time spent living, loving and pickin' in New York City. From time to time, they’re joined by Matt Phillips on mandolin, cornet and tenor guitar; and Rhett McAllister on guitar.
