Join us for Night of 100 Songs to support the AYS Youth Chorale Tour Team at the 2014 WORLD CHOIR GAMES ● JUN 30–JUL 14 ● Riga, Latvia! Special guests Best to Burn will also perform!
Over 30 AYS Youth Chorale Singers have been chosen to participate in the 2014 WORLD CHOIR GAMES in Riga, Latvia this June and July. After receiving Gold and Silver diplomas at the 2012 WCG in Cincinnati, the group has been working very hard to represent AYS once again, and perform at the Champions level!
With over 460 choirs competing, representing 60 countries, ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS will participate as 1 of only 20 US choral programs, and as the ONLY choral program from Atlanta, GA! Help AYS represent Atlanta, Georgia, the Southeastern region, and the United States to audiences all over the world. Make sure every Singer can travel as a cultural ambassador – help them make a dent with your gift!
The total cost of the World Choir Games 2014 is $149,852. We are looking to raise $5,000 through a NIGHT of 100 SONGS! Please consider sponsoring a Singer or the entire Tour Team on Saturday, FEB 15 at Red Light Café. Singers during the evening include Tour Team members, other AYS Singers, AYS Staff, AYS Alumni, families and musician friends. We hope you can attend any (or all!) of NIGHT of 100 SONGS for just a $10 cover charge. Delicious food and beverages are available, and for every $25 you pledge, your name will be thrown in a hat for fabulous door prizes throughout the evening (we hope you attend, but you don’t need to be present to win).
