ATL Collective presents The Beatles' Rubber Soul (EARLY SHOW)

Since 2009, ATL Collective has been curating the best concerts in town. We hand-pick the finest musicians around to recreate the greatest classic albums ever recorded. For September '15, the album will be The Beatles' Rubber Soul retold with a bluegrass feel. That's right. Who hasn't listened to this epic album and considered how much better it would have been driven by banjos and mandolins? Well, now's your chance to hear the dream.

The ATL Collective creates musical events that seek to replicate the intimate experience of listening to an album for the first time, going track by track, reading through the liner notes and turning over the record, truly enjoying the music for what it is, without distractions. Each month, the ATL Collective picks a classic album and collectively covers the track list in sequence — many times completing the event with themed refreshments for attendees. Previous albums have included The Beatles' Abbey Road, The Clash's London Calling, Neil Young's Harvest Moon, Van Morrison's Tupelo Honey and the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, Talking Heads Speaking in Tongues, Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life, and dozens more.
