Nathanael Smith is back in town! Nathanael is a pianist raised in Stone Mountain, GA. He received a bachelor’s degree in jazz performance from Florida State University and a master’s degree in jazz studies from Georgia State University. He has been touring nationally and internationally with the Glenn Miller Orchestra since 2024 and is returning to the Red Light Café for a night of standards, originals, and arrangements with his own trio. It’s a night of music that you won’t want to miss!

Edgewood Avenue will open with a 30-minute set of their award-winning improvised puppet variety show. Then, special guests Aaren Lasky, Davey Pierce, and Leslie North will join the Big Dogs, Austin Combs and Mitch Mack, on stage to help create one of their legendary "TV episodes." Each episode is built through a series of short and long-form games and features a guest director who facilitates the episode's games and provides narrative platforming. This episode features special guest director Christina Cusack-Curbelo.

CUT, IMMEDIATELY is our musical theatre chaos container. It is the umbrella for certain shows that live in the space where musical theatre goes a little off the rails. The stuff that is too messy, too camp, too uncomfortable, too funny, too honest, or too inappropriate to live inside a “normal” cabaret. It is all about the moments musical theatre usually edits out.

Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Brewsies is the completely intoxicated tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right, and drink during the show for tips!

Acting Under the Influence combines theatre and drinking (two of our most favorite activities) in a fun and safe environment for performers and audience members alike. The actors are encouraged to drink by tips from the audience. AUI productions have included cabarets, full-length plays, and many other boozy theatrical shenanigans.
