Join us for an evening of FOUR DUOS performing Americana-Folk-Pop-Rock with Add On Sonia, Andrew Vickery & Paul Brandon, Jaded Ravins, and Mark Michelson & Carrie Holley!
The Add On Sonia band is the country folk-pop collaboration between Ki Adonsonia and Jonathan Brenner, merging her quirky contemporary perspectives and his timeless and classic storytelling into a compelling force on the alternative folk music landscape. Touring to promote their individual albums, every performance is an artistic journey of melody, harmonies, heartfelt compassion and humor. Add On Sonia’s “From Space” and Jonathan Brenner’s “Instagram Success” are available via major streaming services.
Andrew Vickery is an Atlanta singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Splitting time between playing pedal steel guitar in multiple Atlanta bands and working on a yet-to-be released solo EP, his current sound is imbued by 70s Stones country rock, Warren Zevon’s storytelling and humor, and too many other roots/americana influences to name. In addition to doing his own material, you might catch Andrew on the steel guitar playing around town with This Lonesome Valley, Sweet Young Twang, Trauma Family and the Racehorse Project.
Accompanying Andrew on guitar and pedal steel is Birmingham native Paul Brandon, a talented guitarist, songwriter and band leader. Recently, he was the lead guitarist in the phenomenal alt. country outfit Quail Dogs and the mastermind of the local powerhouse collective of Racehorse Project. His lead guitar style is steeped in classic rock and southern soul music and is versatile in the loudest rock tune or the sweetest ballad. In addition to his lead duties, he plays pedal steel guitar in Birmingham country act Pontoon Radio.
Jaded Ravins plays songs you never knew you needed to hear. They twang and tame your heart strings.
Mark Michelson (Pink Zeppelin, Mark Michelson & Friends) and Carrie Holley (Magnolia Express) join voices in this set dedicated to the harmonies of classic rock and singer/songwriters of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

The Craft crawls out of its VHS case, lights a cigarette, and plugs in a guitar. Four witches, one joint, and someone in a “We Are the Weirdos, Mister” T-shirt are about to play with life, death, and chaos in a live-staged-reading at Red Light Café. All that and we're singing live too! We’re chopping up the movie, weaving in the best (and worst) of 90s songs + cursed classics, and setting it all on fire. Draw your spell circle, smear your eyeliner, and get ready for special effects powered with roughly twelve dollars and a prayer (*levitation entirely by imagination + a folding chair).
Produced by nocolococreative (@nocolococreative), this marks the company’s ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! Last October, Scream Queens slashed the stage as the first joint venture between co-captains Ben Cole and Erin North...and now they’re back, older, bolder, slightly more sleep-deprived, and possibly possessed. Other recent highlights include: FCK ASS BOB*, Summer Apocalypse, Motherlode: A Sims Musical, Unfunny Girl, Swipe Right & Sneaky Links, and more!

It’s SHOWTIME! The ghost-with-the-most comes to the Red Light Cafe in this comedic cabaret based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film. Beetlebooze tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, lots and lots of drinking, and the biggest sandworm our audience has ever seen.

Join us for the Atlanta Songwriters Club Meet Up at Red Light Café every second Monday of the month! $5 at the door, starts at 8pm, and you can sign up to play a song if you'd like when you get here.
The Atlanta Songwriters Club is a bit like an open mic with a few key differences. This group exists for songwriter's who would like to interact with other songwriters. It is similar to an open mic, but with the added benefit of discussion. You can come and play a song or just watch and listen. If you'd like to play, you will tell us all if you are interested in receiving feedback on the song or not. If you are interested then after you play we will all discuss what we like about the song, and any suggestions we might have as a group. If you'd rather not have any feedback on the song then you will simply play the song for us. There's no cash prize, competition, or politics. Just songwriting discussions and hopefully new friendships.
If you're a songwriter looking to connect with other songwriters and get some dialogue happening, this group is for you! A club like this allows us to get to know other local songwriters, and learn from one another.

The Death Cabaret is the annual benefit show for Angel Action Atlanta's Your Legacy project. Angel Action Atlanta has, for fifteen years, stood as a symbol of compassion against queerphobia at PRIDE celebrations around Georgia and at several of our community member's funerals. We are in our fourth year working toward providing our community, especially our transgender family's, dying and death care as guides through the processes. Our longer term goal is to also assist with those in need within the carceral system.
Local artists and performers will share their experiences with dying, death, loss, and grief through dance, drag, music, spoken word, burlesque, and more.
Some of our community partners will be in attendance with small information tables. As always, we will have at least one peer facilitator on hand if anyone needs a safe space during the show, this offer extends to our artists as well.
This year as an homage to TDOR Atlanta, we will be celebrating the lives of our transgender family that have passed from TDOR 2024 until this date.
