Whiskey Dixie is an American rock band pulling influences from Rock N Roll, Blues, Roots, and Soul. Formed in Fall of 2014, the band went through several variations of members before landing in the final line-up in winter 2015. Today's lineup features Jacob Parker's screaming guitar solos, Hunter Blalock's honest lyrics, Warren Nichols soulful Piano and organ, followed by a rock solid rhythm section made up of Taylor Locklear and Collin Parker. All together Whiskey Dixie is on a journey to show the world what Georgia rock n roll is all about.
After getting the final lineup together the band quickly jumped from local band to road warriors playing all over Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and the Carolinas in its first year of existence, taking the south by storm. The band also independently released their first recorded effort, The Southern Fix. The band's constant touring and powerful live shows have made Whiskey Dixie a must see band for 2016. "We're here to touch people's souls through music, and that's exactly what we're gonna do," adds Hunter Blalock (Lead Vocals).
