Tall as Pine is an alternative rock quartet hailing from Atlanta, GA. Their music contains elements of folk, blues, jazz, and soul with influences ranging from 1950s Motown to contemporary rock. Artists like Van Morrison, Otis Redding, and CCR served as a foundation while more contemporary acts such as Dr. Dog and Red Hot Chili Peppers continue to impact their work.

The band includes Quade Sewell (lyrics, vocals, guitar) Kara Sewell (vocals) Alex Stella (bass) and DJ Gilroy (percussion, vocals). The members of Tall as Pine met in college while studying theatre and instantly bonded over a passion for playing music. Their theatrical background gives off a unique and contagious energy during performance.

Atlanta indie / folk singer-songwriters Michael Hudgins and Lindsay Rakers emerged from previous projects (City Mouse and Lindsay Rakers) and fused forces to form acoustic duo How and Why. After honing their craft as a two-piece they have invited a band into the fold (who, what, where?), coloring in the raw, honest outlines with beautiful 3-part harmonies, ambient layered guitar sounds and a spirited  Americana rhythm section.

Performing across the Southeast since 2006, Katie Martin's unique blend of blues, folk, and soul mesmerizes audiences in a way that has to be seen to understand. Her agelessly soulful vocals soar effortlessly above a rich propulsion of acoustic blues guitar reminiscent of Muddy Waters combined with the beautiful folk guitar of James Taylor, all performed with the honest intensity of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Seeing Katie Martin perform is an experience like no other, and her refreshing individuality is one that leaves a lasting impression long after the stage has grown silent. She released her acoustic EP " Away From Here" with Haney Records in 2011. In 2015 she released "Katie Martin : Live From the Chocolate Room" ft. Tony Brook on slide guitar, and her debut album, "Purpose" both recorded, produced, and engineered by Larry Mitchell at The Chocolate Room. In 2017 she released her 3rd acoustic ep "Live From The Chocolate Room: Vol. II" and in Feb. of 2018 she released her 2nd album, "Hope" both recorded, produced, and engineered by Larry Mitchell at The Chocolate Room.
