Acting Under the Influence is proud to present BOMBSHELL - the new musical about Marilyn Monroe, starring Ivy Lynn as Marilyn! Wait, no... Karen Cartwright as Marilyn! Wait, we can't keep up, WHO is playing Marilyn?

Based off of NBC's "Smash!," "SMASHed!" is a ridiculously fun night of callbacks, auditions, Bernadette Peters songs, and of course, two powerhouses absolutely belting the house down as they compete for the role of Marilyn in a fictional musical, all while drinking. What could be better? Come get SMASHed with us!

Acting Under the Influence combines theatre and drinking (two of our most favorite activities) in a fun and safe environment for performers and audience members alike. The actors are encouraged to drink by tips from the audience. AUI productions have included cabarets, full-length plays, and many other boozy theatrical shenanigans.
