Ralph Roddenbery has "an undeniable knack for tapping into the emotional undercurrent of his songs, many of which are just as likely to make you laugh, as they are to cause moistening of the 'lids, all within the same four minutes." (Michael Andrews) Roddenbery writes from the heart about matters of the world. From being lost in Boocoo Disarray to Pushin' on a Pull Door, Ralph Roddenbery shares his world through music and capitivating lyrics.
Donna Hopkins is the real deal. Born and raised on an Alabama farm, Donna witnessed life in the South first hand, channeling it into the soulful music that she creates and performs. Georgia Music Magazine calls Donna Hopkins a “genuine triple threat” due to her prowess as a singer, songwriter and guitarist. In addition to her other talents, Donna also wears the producer’s hat, working with and developing up-and-coming talent in the Atlanta area.
Steve McMurry, better known as Big Daddy and the front-man for the dynamic band Acoustic Syndicate, is one of the finest singer-songwriters around, and we are thrilled to bring him into the mix for this special night of music. A stellar multi-instrumentalist, McMurry says, "With the passage of time, if we are paying any attention at all, we see just how fragile and tenuous human life really is. It gives you a strong sense of the incredible importance of community, family and love. These feelings come out in our writing."
