Minos the Saint isn’t what you’d call a “traditional” southern Louisiana band. Though there are influences of Cajun and Zydeco in their music, they are also influenced by Latin styles, Jazz, eastern European, and even a touch of orchestral brass. The band starts with the traditional core of voice, guitar, piano, and drums, but will expand or contract with the use of violin, mandolin, accordion, and a small brass section. Each instrument brings a different character into the mix, which gives the band it’s one-of-a-kind sound.
Special guests Josh Erwin & Troy Harris (of Packway Handle Band) open the show at 8pm.

Minos the Saint isn’t what you’d call a “traditional” southern Louisiana band. Their music has as many influences as a well-traveled passport has stamps. Each band member brings a diverse musical background which results in a fresh brand of experimental-yet-accessible folk rock that uniquely represents Louisiana, and the world.
