History Rhymes Cabaret

  • Red Light Cafe 553-1 Amsterdam Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30306 United States (map)

Join veteran Atlanta performer (and the weird mind behind Joy Deficit!) Gina Rickicki and award-winning multi instrumentalist / ethnomusicologist Dr. Panayotis "Paddy" League for a night of Revolutionary Joy. They will be bringing friends to the stage to sing songs and tell tales from around the world of fighting the good fight.

As Mark Twain said, "History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes." Songs of protest, revolution, hope, and solidarity carry those rhymes to us today to remind us that despair isn't an option,  and neither is staying silent.

It'll be a loud, funny, uplifting night of community that needs your voice in the mix.
