Georgia Mountain String Band is a bluegrass project started by Jason C. Waller. What started out as a pick up band over time turned into a tight knit energetic band. The guys work from a central playbook of Country and Bluegrass songs as well as original material. City Slickers tippin' their hats to the old sounds and exploring new territories. Will play anywhere, anytime and for anybody as long as the check clears and there's food and beverages. When Georgia Mountain String Band shows up to a gig there's a lot of picking and even more grinning.
Cultivated on the porches and back yards across the train tracks on West King Street in St. Augustine, Florida, West King String Band draws from countless genres of music to create a unique homegrown sound they call 'blues-grass'. The outfit took their manic, upbeat riffs on the road and have embarked on several east coast tours and recorded multiple EP's. With a full album in the works for the summer of 2016, you can catch the WKSB on the road shaking bones in a town near you.
