Bluegrass Thursdays are back at Red Light Café! The returning featured act for August 26th is Smoke Rise: Veterans of the Atlanta bluegrass scene, Smoke Rise like to mix the old and the new. They all love the Blues and grew up on Rock and Roll – and their music shows it.
Every Thursday, a featured bluegrass band will perform a few numbers then invite other instrumentalists and singers to join them on stage for a Bluegrass Jam. This main stage jam will be live-streamed (RLC Twitch Channel), and additional jams will pop up outside or elsewhere in the venue (just like old times). So grab a fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, dobro, cajón, upright bass — or just yourself — and come on down and join in the jam!
