Red Light Café is Atlanta's premiere listening room for Americana, Bluegrass, Country & Western, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Roots Rock, and everything in between — including some of the best Comedy Shows and Burlesque in the Southeast! Located on the east side of Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta's Amsterdam Walk, Red Light Café is a cozy live entertainment and music venue with tables and seating for over 100 folks to enjoy an intimate show with a full bar and kitchen for drinks, appetizers and entrées.

Atlanta Jazz International Sounds Series: Yakou Daniel N'Guessan

Ivory Coast's Yakou Daniel N'Guessan (Drummer / Composer) leads the October showcase of Atlanta's first ever monthly cultural exchange event featuring Top International Artists based in Georgia, presented by Cultural Ambassador and America's Songbird of the South Myrna Clayton along with CedarTree Worldwide Productions.

Yakou Daniel N'Guessan performed for choir churches since the age of 7 and the Spirit led him to INSAAC (Institut National Supérieur des Arts et de l'Action Culturelle). A professional drummer since 1995, performing with jazz bands and in jazz clubs, he dedicated himself to jazz while being open to other styles of music. His collaborations include Nah Jay Jay, Dez Gad, Russell Gun, Lionel Loueke, Linley Marthe, Philippe Duchemin, Vincent Bourgex, Quincy Davis, Joachim Ken, Sangoma Everett, Magid Bekas, and Paco. 

In 2002, an International Festival "L'emoi du Jazz" in Côte d'Ivoire, allowed him to collaborate with world-renowned jazz artists during three of its editions. Yakou is currently working on his album and performing at venues in Atlanta and New Orleans.
