Atlanta Jazz International Sounds Series: Godfrey Grannum

Barbados' GODFREY GRANNUM (Keyboardist / Composer / Band Leader) leads the August's showcase of Atlanta's first ever monthly cultural exchange event featuring Top International Artists based in Georgia, presented by Cultural Ambassador and America's Songbird of the South Myrna Clayton along with CedarTree Worldwide Productions.

Godfrey Grannum is a well-traveled and versatile musician with International Experience and Island Flavor. He is a native of a small island in the West Indies called Barbados, where he spent his early childhood and teen years learning to play piano. Known as a skillfully top side man in corporate bands, big bands, wedding bands, and church bands; Godfrey Grannum is now stepping out to the place he belongs – front and center! Godfrey blends the totality of the West Indies (Reggae, Carnival, Soca, etc.) with every American genre imaginable to create his own signature sound.
