Like the traditional Southeaster Europe vegetable stew, Sataraš Quartet's music is made of many ingredients: odd time signature Balkan tunes, otherworldly blues, original jazz and rarely-played jazz covers, music spanning many miles and styles. Sataraš Quartet is recognizably Jazz with a capital J, but it's unlike anything you've ever heard before.
Sister Sai is the moniker of musician and songwriter Saira Raza. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres, including jazz, folk, classical, and world music, her improvisational sets have been described as meditative and cinematic.
